Two Inter Miami CF Academy Players Called Up to U.S. U-17 Men’s National Team

Inter Miami CF announced today that two Academy players, Logan Batiste and Kobi Henry, have been called up to the U.S. U-17 Men’s National Team. The pair will join the team for the upcoming UEFA Development Tournament. 


The tournament is being hosted at St. George’s Park in Burton Upton Trent, United Kingdom and will run until February 25. It consists of three matches, with the team facing Denmark, Spain and England. The first match took place yesterday, February 19, and the remaining matches will take place on February 21 and February 24.


Batiste, born in 2004, is a defender who has represented the Inter Miami CF U-17 team in 11 U.S. Soccer Development Academy league games. He has started in eight of those games and scored one goal.


Henry, like Batiste, is an Inter Miami U-17 defender who was born in 2004. He has represented the team in 13 U.S. Soccer Development Academy league games. Henry started in 12 of those games.


The Inter Miami Academy is comprised of 160 youth players from South Florida, playing across six age groups from 12 to 19. The Academy is fully funded by the organization and aims to recruit and develop talented players, providing them with the best opportunities to continue advancing to the highest levels of the sport.
