Inter Miami CF forward Leonardo Campana has been called up by Ecuador for the team’s friendly fixtures later this month in the United States.
Ecuador and Campana will first take on Bolivia at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ on June 17 at 7 p.m. ET, followed by a matchup against Costa Rica at Subaru Park in Chester, PA on June 20 at 8 p.m. ET.
Campana has recorded 12 appearances for Ecuador’s senior national team to date, most recently featuring in a 1-0 win over Cape Verde in a friendly that was played at DRV PNK stadium in June 2022.
This season, the striker has recorded 10 appearances, nine of them starts, netting three goals and dishing out an assist.
Campana has also earned individual honors this campaign, being named MLS Player of the Matchday and earning a spot in the MLS Team of the Matchday in week 10 of the regular season.
