On Thursday, Nov. 18, Edison Azcona will take on U-17 Academy player Miles Perkovich in Inter Miami’s third and final eFriendly presented by Wendy’s of 2021.
The matchup will begin at 1:30 p.m. ET and will air on the Club’s Twitch, Youtube and Facebook channels, the Inter Miami App and the Wendy’s Twitch Channel. The match will be hosted by Inter Miami eMLS athlete IMCF_Pabs.
The first two eFriendlies of 2021 saw Lewis Morgan take down Indiana Vassilev 7-2 on aggregate over two legs and IMCF_Pabs defeat Leandro González Pirez 8-5 on aggregate.
In 2020, Inter Miami participated in several eFriendly matchups, including Julián Carranza defeating Everton’s Richarlison and drawing with San Lorenzo’s Franco Di Santo, and Rodolfo Pizarro triumphing over Wolves striker Raúl Jiménez and subsequently beating Sporting Kansas City’s Alan Pulido.
Inter Miami will also host the final stage of the second annual Copa de La Familia presented by Wendy’s on Saturday, Nov. 20. The fan-favorite event began with the Preliminary Round Tournament, hosted at the XBTO NW Club of DRV PNK Stadium on Nov. 7, and saw three fans - Luis Beuses, Raphael Macedo and Daniel Marquez - earn their place in the final round, where they will take on First Team players Edison Azcona, Leandro González Pirez and Christian Makoun on the big screen at DRV PNK Stadium.
