St. Clair and De Paul Named to MLS Team of the Matchday

Inter Miami CF goalkeeper Dayne St.Clair and midfielder Rodrigo De Paul have been named to the Major League Soccer Team of the Matchday presented by Audi for matchday 30 of the 2026 regular season. The duo earns TOTM honors after their influential performances on Wednesday evening as Inter Miami defeated New York City FC 2-0 at home at Nu Stadium to clinch a spot in the Audi 2026 MLS Cup Playoffs. 

St. Clair features in the TOTM for the first time this regular season after a solid performance between the sticks against NYCFC to post a clean sheet for a second consecutive match. In all, the Canadian international goalkeeper recorded four saves on the night, including saving a penalty from NYCFC's Nicolás Fernández to preserve his clean sheet in the last play of the match in stoppage time.

St. Clair has now made 23 appearances this regular season, all of them starts, recording four clean sheets and 62 total saves in the process.

De Paul, meanwhile, is selected for the TOTM for the third time this campaign after an all-action performance. El Motorcito was directly involved in both of Inter Miami’s goals on Wednesday, recording a secondary assist in the 20th minute in a superb team passing sequence which was capped off by Germán Berterame opening the scoring from the center of the box, before the doubling the lead in stoppage time right before the half with a rocket to the top-left corner. De Paul was also precise on ball distribution during his standout performance against NYCFC and concluded the night with 91.9% pass completion rate.

The Argentina international midfielder has now made 24 2026 regular season appearances, all of them starts, contributing five goals and 14 assists along the way.
